Consider yesterday’s Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity. In the dissent, Sotomayor hilariously frets about how far Trump would take it. She writes, « He will now be insulated from criminal prosecution orders. Orders the Navy SEAL Team Six to assassinate a political rival? Immune. Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune. Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immune. Immune. Immune. Immune. » But that’s all B.S. and it’s scary coming from a Supreme Court justice, some wise Latina. She makes AOC seem like FDR. Everything she suggests, the president would face impeachment for and then a trial. But surprise, the media played along.JOY REID: Presumably, if he were to use Seal Team Six to try to assassinate one of his political opponents, so long as he did it through the auspices of the presidency, let’s say, use the NSA to say, let me investigate the Biden’s as a national security threat, and then we need to go ahead and assassinate them when they take a foreign trip. We’ll just go ahead and use drones to assassinate them, let’s say in a foreign country, and we’ll use Seal Team Six to go in and get them like they got Bin Laden. As long as you use it, do it through the official apparatuses of the presidency, he can do it. RACHEL MADDOW: Given that the hypotheticals over the course of these arguments, as you rightly pointed out, included things like, can the president assassinate a rival? I think we have to look at the Supreme Court’s affirmative answer to that. Yes, you can, with as much seriousness as it deserves. Luckily, she only works Mondays and has six days to calm down. But the libs once again rely on extreme fantasy. The president can use Seal Team Six to take out critics? Well, if he uses it on The View, they’d be called Meal Team Six. How would Trump take out Biden? Make him climb stairs? Would he slip poison into Pelosi’s Botox? Switch out Jerry Nadler’s Depends with a suicide diaper? In a perfect act of karma, he could tie Mitt Romney to the roof of the presidential limo. Or, maybe Trump could prosecute his political enemies on charges nobody can even explain. That would be new, right? But this decision is easily explained. On one hand, if the president has no immunity for official actions, we end up with a leader weighing options on whether he’ll have to defend them in court some day. He’ll be more gun-shy than Alec Baldwin’s assistant. But do we want a president who’s immune from all prosecution? That’s all this was– a guide on the limits of presidential power. But how do you expect a man with one foot in his mouth and the other in the grave to understand that. JOE BIDEN: Today’s decision almost certainly means that there are virtually no limits on what a president can do. This is a fundamentally new principle, and it’s a dangerous precedent, because the power of the office will no longer be constrained by the law, even including the Supreme Court of the United States.Shut up. Nobody is listening. You know, we’re just waiting to see if you don’t keel over. Now, this ruling actually meant Trump could do whatever he wants when that applied to the sitting president. And I say sitting because standing is a lot to ask of Joe these days. Chewing is asking a lot of him these days. It’s not like Biden or whoever’s running the show wouldn’t use these newfound powers. This is the White House that brought four Trump criminal cases, along with an un-elected defense attorney who chases Trump the way Ana Navarro trails the hot dog vendors of Sixth Avenue. If Biden handlers thought they could drone the RNC, Biden’s teleprompter would read ready, aim, fire, and Biden would say ready, aim, fire, end of quote. But why is every Supreme Court decision or every word spoken by Trump causing a meltdown, usually seen in Jesse’s dressing room when he runs out of Aqua Net? Well, this is what happens when you see everything through the prism of one man, when one human being becomes the embodiment of all the shortcomings and fears in your life. I swear I haven’t seen one guy cause this much hysteria since I did my last book tour shirtless.DEMOCRAT DONORS PRESS CAMPAIGN ON BIDEN’S HEALTH, STAMINA IN PRIVATE CALLS: REPORTSo is this the end of the world? Well, if you’re one of the media or enablers who’s been hiding the nation’s most eminent dementia patient, the answer is yes, it is. You’ve been exposed. Like me, when I forget to wear pants under my chaps. So, once again, the left tries to divert us from that other story. The one about us not having a president. Look over here. Ignore that vegetable. But there’s a contradiction. First, if Trump is so evil, why do you have to make up these crimes? And if defeating Trump is so vital to saving the world, then why are you clowns running a glazed doughnut against him? But you see, if they don’t make this story all about the Trump apocalypse, we’re back to an unfit Biden. So they pivot back to the same preposterous place– Trump derangement fueled by hysteria, which reveals two problems. For the Dems, this hysteria is a drug to escape reality. Life sucks right now, but if I just take more of this fantasy pill, it temporarily goes away. But instead, it gets worse because this apocalyptic filter yields no accurate predictions. And over time, people learn that your rantings are just hoaxes. It’s how you end up with one of the biggest political scams in history exposed. So what you’re witnessing is the end of an era. An era where hoaxes were the foundation for power. Maybe now we can get back to normal, where governance is based on ability and not something imaginary like Joe’s pulse.

Death toll climbs to 116 in religious gathering stampede in India

Thousands of people at a religious gathering in India rushed to leave a makeshift tent, setting off a stampede Tuesday that killed more than 100 and left scores injured, officials said.It was not immediately clear what triggered the panic following an event with a Hindu guru known locally as Bhole Baba. Local news reports cited authorities who said heat and suffocation in the tent could have been a factor. A bus that arrived there carried more victims, whose bodies were lying on the seats inside.Deadly stampedes are relatively common around Indian religious festivals, where large crowds gather in small areas with shoddy infrastructure and few safety measures.Police officer Rajesh Singh said there was likely overcrowding at the event in a village in Hathras district about 220 miles southwest of the state capital, Lucknow.Initial reports said organizers had permission to host about 5,000 people, but more than 15,000 came for the event by the Hindu preacher, who used to be a police officer in the state before he left his job to give religious sermons. He has led other such gatherings over the last two decades.Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered condolences to the families of the dead and said the federal government was working with state authorities to ensure the injured received help.Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, called the stampede « heart-wrenching » in a post on X. New York v. Trump: Merchan delays sentencing hearing until September

Judge Juan Merchan has delayed former President Trump’s sentencing in New York v. Trump to September, after requests from the presumptive Republican nominee to do so, and no opposition from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Trump was found guilty in an unprecedented criminal trial last month on all counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, following a six-week trial stemming from Bragg’s investigation. Trump on Monday moved to overturn his criminal conviction in the Manhattan case after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a former president has substantial immunity for official acts committed while in office. He also requested to delay his sentencing, which was set for July 11 — just days before the Republican National Convention where he is set to be formally nominated the 2024 GOP presidential nominee. Bragg, on Tuesday morning, said Trump’s request to toss the verdict was without merit, but did not oppose the request to delay sentencing. Merchan on Tuesday afternoon delayed Trump’s sentencing date to Sept. 18. This is a developing story. Arizona election worker charged in security-related thefts seen with Democrat politicians in resurfaced photos

EXCLUSIVE – A temporary election worker charged in connection to two security-related thefts that happened just a day apart last month at the Arizona Senate Building and the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center was seen smiling with several Democratic politicians in resurfaced social media posts viewed by Fox News Digital, and participated in Democrat primaries in Arizona during at least two past cycles. Walter Alphonso Jamel Ringfield Jr., 27, of Phoenix, is facing multiple charges, including theft, criminal damage, trespassing and burglary, as Maricopa County Sheriff Russ Skinner said last week that investigators were combing through « a lot of digital evidence, » including Ringfield’s past social media activity, and vowed to « leave no stone unturned » when determining whether the crimes were politically motivated.Although authorities have not provided an update on their investigation since then, screenshots viewed by Fox News Digital show Ringfield posed in several photos he shared on social media in 2020, 2021 and 2022 with Democratic politicians, including U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz.; Tempe, Arizona, Mayor Corey Woods; and then-Tempe police chief Jeffrey Glover, who was later appointed by Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs as director of the Arizona Department of Public Safety in 2023. Arizona DPS is the agency that accused Ringfield of stealing from a security guard’s desk in the state Senate building last month.ARIZONA ELECTION WORKER SEEN STEALING FROM SENATE SECURITY DESK DAY BEFORE ELECTION CENTER THEFT: OFFICIALSIn one post, Ringfield described the politicians as « some of my friends. » The photos shared on Instagram showed a smiling Ringfield also sharing his experience meeting Jevin Hodge, a former Democratic state representative who resigned earlier this year amid sexual assault allegations, the former Democratic mayor of Tempe, Neil Giuliano, and Berdetta Hodge, a member of the Tempe City Council whose position is nonpartisan. « A leftist activist, with a history of run-ins with the law, allegedly stole the key to illegally access the machine that counts votes from Maricopa’s election system, » RNC Election Integrity communications director Claire Zunk said in an exclusive statement to Fox News Digital. « Democrats at best have turned a blind eye while insisting the election is secure. At worst, was this a planned threat in a long line of extreme election interference by Democrats? What was the motive, one month before the primary? Arizonans must have proof their ballots are safe and Americans a system where these threats are not tolerated. » Ringfield was arrested outside his Phoenix home on June 21. Just a day earlier, he was seen on security footage walking past a desk with multiple tabulators and pocketing a security fob and lanyard, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. Ringfield was confronted by his employer, and detectives who served a search warrant at his home recovered the security fob from a dresser in the master bedroom. At a press conference held the next week, Maricopa County Supervisor Bill Gates admitted Ringfield was in a felony diversion program, information he said did not surface in a background check conducted before Ringfield was hired as a temporary election worker in Maricopa County. Court records show Ringfield was in the program following a September 2023 arrest for allegedly pocketing $1,800 in cash over the course of a shift working as a cashier at a Phoenix grocery store. In total, Ringfield has had four criminal filings against him for unspecified offenses, including one felony and one traffic infraction. That includes in 2019 when he had a forcible entry/detainer filed against him. Court documents also list a prior arrest for disorderly conduct and fighting. In response to Ringfield’s arrest late last month, the RNC and the Arizona GOP dispatched attorneys and observers on the ground in Maricopa County « as part of our election integrity program to gather information and promote transparency as the situation developed, » RNC Chairman Michael Whatley said in a June 25 statement. « The RNC and AZGOP have a long history of engaging in Maricopa County election issues both in the field and in the courtroom, and yesterday’s events are an example of our election integrity program’s capacity to provide real-time legal response when issues arise at tabulation centers. » »This incident raises serious questions about election security in Arizona that must be answered – we will be constructively engaged with Maricopa County officials to ensure that the remedies to this security breach sufficiently address our concerns, » Whatley added at the time. ARIZONA ELECTION WORKER ACCUSED OF STEALING SECURITY DEVICE WAS HIRED DESPITE FELONY THEFT ARREST MONTHS PRIORTwo days after the press conference, the Arizona Department of Public Safety revealed that Ringfield had been tied to another theft from the Arizona State Senate Building. Troopers reviewed security footage that showed a suspect, later identified as Ringfield, entering a restricted area of the building and removing numerous items from a security staff member’s desk on June 19, the day before the theft at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center. State police said the stolen items included challenge coins and other desk accessories. Under the handle @alphonsosundevil on Instagram, Ringfield shared a selfie with Kelly on Sept. 9, 2022, according to a screenshot viewed by Fox News Digital. The caption said, « I met 2 current amazing and inspiring US Senators today, » tagging Kelly and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., who was not pictured in the post. In another photo shared on Jan. 17, 2022, Ringfield, wearing a mask with other volunteers, is seen carrying a blue sign with Martin Luther King Jr.’s image that reads, « The dream lives on… Voting rights now. » The caption said he was blessed to have walked in the MLK parade and thanked Berdetta Hodge, also the former president of the Tempe Union High School District governing board, adding: « It’s an honor and a privilege interning for you this semester. » On Dec. 18, 2021, Ringfield shared a photo smiling with a group of politicians, according to a screenshot viewed by Fox News Digital. The account « @alphonsosundevil » is now private. « With a smile on my face, it’s time to introduce some of my friends, » Ringfield wrote then. ARIZONA ELECTION WORKER ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING SECURITY DEVICE FROM BALLOT TABULATION CENTER

Ringfield is seen at the end next to a cheerful lineup of Woods, Glover, then-state Rep. Jevin Hodge, Giuliano, and Bordetta Hodge. Ringfield wrote that it was his second time meeting Woods, the first time being the night when he became mayor-elect, and the caption described Woods as « the first Black mayor of tempe. » The caption praised Glover as « Tempe’s first black police chief. » Ringfield said he was « honored to be interning » for Jevin Hodge next semester, adding: « Happy birthday to my friend. »Reached for comment on Tuesday, a spokesperson for Woods said the mayor does not know Ringfield personally and the photos were taken at past meet and greet events. The mayor’s spokesperson explained that « it happens all the time » when people will walk up to the mayor or an official and ask for a photo, adding that Woods « gets his picture taken with thousands of people a year and that he does not know or have a relationship with this person. » For Giuliano, the caption said he is « 6-0 in political campaigns » and « has met every president except 1 since he has been in the political realm. » « He’s so awesome, » Ringfield wrote. « It was a blessing to be in the presence of good friends. » On March 10, 2020, Ringfield shared a photo with his thumb up smiling next to Wood at another event, according to another screenshot. « With a brief moment I learned a lot from Tempe’s first black mayor, » Ringfield wrote, congratulating Woods. « I’m looking for a role model. »  Other screenshots of his social media activity showed Ringfield supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and asking followers whether they were pro-choice or pro-life on abortion. On TRUTH Social, former President Trump’s social media platform, Ringfield appears to have posted from a different handle, @imjustheresoiwontbefined. » A screenshot of his cover photo shows Ringfield again smiling with a group of people, including Democrat Jevin Hodge. Voting data showed Ringfield voted in the Democratic primaries in 2022 and 2020 in Arizona. He made two donations of just $5 each to ActBlue, the leading fundraising platform for Democratic campaigns and groups nationwide, in 2022, according to data from the Federal Election Commission. Fox News Digital reached out to Kelly, Klobuchar, Glover, Giuliano and Jevin and Berdetta Hodge for comment, as well as the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, but did not immediately hear back.

Staying healthy as a woman over age 40 starts with asking the right questions, doctors say.Females in this age group face new health challenges and can sometimes get lost in the shuffle of the traditional health care system, according to Dr. Alexa Fiffick, a family medicine physician and menopause practitioner at Concierge Medicine of Westlake in Cleveland, Ohio.As menopause is often viewed as a « taboo topic, » Fiffick — also a clinical fellow at Cleveland Clinic — is working to empower this group of women to take control of their health proactively. MAJOR HEALTH ORGANIZATION MAKES STARTLING HEART DISEASE PREDICTION: ‘NEAR-PERFECT STORM’ »To do that, they need to ask their doctors the right potentially life-saving questions, » she said.In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Fiffick shared the top 9 questions women should be asking — along with her answers.Women have a 50% greater chance of having a misdiagnosed heart attack than men, data shows. It wasn’t until 2020 that the American Heart Association identified menopause as an individual risk factor for heart disease.WOMEN EXPERIENCE MORE DENTAL HEALTH ISSUES THAN MEN, EXPERTS SAY. HERE’S WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT »This giant, stressful health event wasn’t taken seriously for a long time, » Fiffick said. « Finally, the science supports that menopause is a risk factor for heart disease. Women absolutely must ask their doctors about their individual risks based on this information, coupled with their medical history. »For adults up to 65 years of age, experts recommend getting 150 minutes per week of exercise, combining moderate-to-vigorous aerobic workouts and strength training sessions.For women in their 40s, lifting weights becomes particularly important, according to Fiffick. »There is a lot of emerging evidence of the benefits of weightlifting — especially lifting weights that are considered heavy, » she said. »It’s been difficult for this age group in the past to lift heavier, because we were all raised to think that weightlifting builds a more masculine structure, » she said. »But it’s really important for bone health and to prevent falls — and it also helps the brain stay cognizant of changes, which can be really helpful to stave off dementia. »MICHIGAN MOM: ‘I HAD A STROKE AT 39 — AND THE WARNING SIGNS WEREN’T WHAT YOU’D EXPECT’When choosing a weight, it should be heavy enough that it can’t be lifted repetitively with ease. »It should be a challenge to do the motions with the weight, so you can continue to keep challenging yourself, » Fiffick said. »That sort of heavy weightlifting is associated with maintaining bone density. »Cardiovascular exercise is also important for keeping the heart healthy, Fiffick said. »People tend to think of cardio for weight loss because that’s what we used to teach in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s — but realistically, weight loss is more about your food consumption and less about cardiovascular exercise, » she said. « So it’s really pertinent to staying fit and keeping your cardiovascular system nice and strong. »By the time women enter their 40s, most have already reached their peak bone density, as it begins to decrease in the years surrounding menopause, according to experts.Many of Fiffick’s patients are surprised to learn that certain over-the-counter medications can contribute to bone loss.THREE WOMEN — AGES 41, 55 AND 64 — SHARE THEIR SECRETS TO BETTER HEALTH AND LONGEVITYThose include proton pump inhibitors, or PPIs, a type of medication that prevents acid reflux. « They can help degrade bone if you’re on them for a very long time, » Fiffick warned. Some studies have suggested that metformin, a medication that is used to help lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes, could also impact bone density, according to the doctor.Other threats to bone health include significant alcohol or tobacco consumption, she said. »If you’re having more than around one drink every evening, that’s probably a bit too much for bone health, » she noted. »As far as tobacco goes, no amount is a good amount. Those sorts of things are actively hurting your bones. »With so many female-focused supplements on the market, it can be tough to determine which are essential and which can be skipped. »My two go-to supplements are vitamin D and magnesium, » Fiffick told Fox News Digital.DAILY MULTIVITAMINS MIGHT NOT HELP YOU LIVE LONGER, STUDY FINDS »Getting enough vitamin D is important to help keep our bones healthy, but it can be difficult to get only through food, so most people need to take a supplement. »Magnesium is also important for women in their 40s due to its impact on bone health, heart health, hormonal balance and mood regulation, according to experts. »Additionally, magnesium is said to help with the constipation that happens in perimenopause and menopause, as well as helping people sleep a little bit better, » Fiffick said.For calcium, the doctor advises women to get it through diet rather than supplements. « Most people who eat a more American diet get more than enough calcium through foods, » she said.To help determine whether you need a supplement, Fiffick recommends going to the National Osteoporosis Foundation website, which provides a list of foods containing calcium and vitamin D to help you calculate your own intake.Fiffick often hears from patients who assume they’re too young to transition into this next phase of life. »‘Normal’ menopause can happen anywhere between ages 45 and 55 — but sometimes it happens » at a younger age, she told Fox News Digital. IS IT MENOPAUSE? 6 HIDDEN SYMPTOMS WOMEN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT NOWFor women starting the process at between 40 and 45 years old, it’s considered « early menopause, » Fiffick said — but it’s not treated separately from « normal » menopause.After 55, it is considered late menopause, she noted. »The group that we treat really separately are the people who are under 40 when they start menopause — those are the ones we call ‘premature menopause,’ » Fiffick said.Starting menopause before the age of 40 can increase the risk of metabolic syndrome, Fiffick warned, which can contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease. »That happens because as soon as your body stops having estrogen, it stops being able to protect your brain, your bones and your heart, » she said. »So all of the ‘diseases of aging’ — meaning high blood pressure, cholesterol, heart attacks, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis fractures — those all come on much quicker if you are menopausal earlier. » A younger menopausal patient is treated differently than a menopausal woman in her 50s, Fiffick said. »For the older patients, we’re mainly trying to make you feel better and maybe do some preventative things, » she said. »For women under 40, we’re trying to get you at least enough estrogen and progesterone so it’s as if your ovaries didn’t close up shop. So it’s a very different approach than for someone who’s a little bit older. »Women’s nutritional requirements change as they age, Fiffick said.A general rule of thumb is for women in their 40s to consume about 0.8 grams of protein per pound of body weight — and the large majority aren’t hitting that mark, the doctor noted.THIS POPULAR DIET COULD HELP WOMEN LIVE LONGER, STUDY FINDS »If a woman comes into my clinic and I have her walk me through an average day of eating, even if she’s a meat eater, she’s likely only getting around 50 grams, » Fiffick said. « With the average body weight exceeding 130 or 140 pounds, that’s not nearly enough. »Fiffick encourages her patients to start tracking their protein to get a baseline, and then look for ways to augment that.An easy way to increase protein is to add powder to shakes, which usually have about 30 grams of protein, she advised. »If you do that in addition to eating chicken, fish, legumes and other sources of protein, you’ll usually be much closer to the goal. »Women in their 40s fall into what Fiffick calls the « sandwich generation, » which can make it challenging to get the appropriate amount of sleep. »Some women have really young kids, others have teens, and some have kids in their 20s, » she said. »Recent research found that these women tend to need upward of eight to 10 hours of sleep, » Fiffick noted.GOING TO BED AFTER THIS TIME COULD LEAD TO POORER MENTAL HEALTH, A STANFORD STUDY FINDSWhile the longtime rule of thumb has been that seven hours is sufficient, « that is not necessarily good enough for women, » the doctor said. Sleep plays an essential role in all aspects of wellness, according to Fiffick — including metabolism, heart health and brain function. « We see a lot of people complain about ‘brain fog’ in perimenopause and menopause, » she said. « And one of the biggest reasons for that is the fact that they’re not sleeping. » Fiffick encourages her patients to advocate for themselves and ask their doctors for help with sleep optimization, « because it’s literally vital. »As women progress into their 40s, hormonal and metabolic changes can lead to weight gain.Some women come into Fiffick’s office and say, « I don’t want to cheat by using weight-loss medication, » she said.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR HEALTH NEWSLETTER »But it’s not cheating, » the doctor said. « For some people, it’s the right fit and can help them see significant improvement. »As every patient’s needs and goals are different, Fiffick said it’s essential for each woman to talk to her doctor and weigh the risks and benefits of medicinal or surgical options.Some of the most important weight-loss strategies include getting enough protein and drinking enough water, according to the expert. »By ‘front-loading’ your day with protein, you’ll stay full for longer, as it’s a slow-burning energy, » Fiffick said.With carb-heavy breakfasts, she warned, you’re destined for a 10 a.m. slump.When it comes to hydration, 3 liters of water daily is associated with weight loss or weight maintenance during perimenopause and menopause, Fiffick said. »So if it’s not the right time to talk about meds with a certain patient, I automatically go back to protein and water, » she said. « In 99% of cases, one of those could be better. »Some of the most common cancer types affecting women include breast, colorectal, lung, cervical, endometrial, ovarian and skin — and the risk increases with age.To help gauge your risk, Fiffick emphasized the importance of knowing your family history.SENIORS AND BREAST CANCER: WHY AREN’T OLDER WOMEN TOLD TO GET MAMMOGRAMS? »This is critical in order for a doctor to be able to do a good risk assessment for hereditary cancers, » she said.A surprising share of women don’t have this information, in the doctor’s experience. »The longer I’ve been a physician, I’ve realized that we don’t know what our mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles and cousins have going on with their health, » Fiffick said. « Learning those things so that you can really understand your risk is critical — it may genuinely save your or your child’s life. »One of the most effective ways to reduce cancer risk is to limit or eliminate alcohol consumption, according to Fiffick. »Drinking more than one glass of wine or one cocktail at night is associated with a significantly increased risk of seven or eight different types of cancers, » she noted.Obesity is another major risk factor for cancers, the doctor said.For more Health articles, visit www.foxnews/health « I heard a recent citation that up to 30% of all new breast cancers each year are associated with nothing other than obesity as the risk factor, » Fiffick said. »So the two things that are really within your control are weight and alcohol consumption — and if you’re a tobacco smoker, please stop. Burglars steal guns from California store after crashing into entrance with stolen car
