70 days: Kamala Harris has yet to do formal press conference since emerging as Democratic nominee

[ad_1]

Vice President Kamala Harris has gone 70 days as the presumptive, and now, official Democratic nominee for president without holding an official press conference. Under pressure to sit down for a substantive interview after weeks of stonewalling, Harris finally ended her interview drought last month in Georgia when she was joined by running mate Tim Walz for a pre-taped piece with CNN’s Dana Bash that was a far cry from a traditional press conference. Trump held his third news conference since the beginning of August earlier this month in California, taking the opportunity to roast his opponent’s home state and hold forth on a number of topics, including crime, immigration and inflation.BERNIE SANDERS SAYS HARRIS DROPPING FAR-LEFT POLICIES ‘IN ORDER TO WIN THE ELECTION’Harris has stepped up her interviews in recent weeks, including doing radio hits and a solo sit-down with a Philadelphia TV station. She also spoke to MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle and she made time to hang out with supporter Oprah Winfrey earlier this month at a star-studded campaign event. But as for when she’ll actually do a formal press conference as a candidate, that day may never come, at least while she’s still a candidate.Conservative Radio Libre host Jorge Bonilla feels Harris should do a press conference but said it’s almost « irrelevant » because she continues to get a pass. HARRIS DODGES QUESTION ON LOWERING PRICES BY DESCRIBING ‘MIDDLE-CLASS’ ROOTS: NEIGHBORS ‘PROUD OF THEIR LAWN’ »She is highly unlikely to do a press conference because the media have enabled and encouraged her ‘plexiglass basement’ strategy, wherein she preserves the illusion of being out there while remaining wholly inaccessible to the press and therefore unaccountable, » Bonilla told Fox News Digital. In her interview in Philadelphia, her answer citing her middle-class upbringing when asked about specifics of her economic policy drew sharp criticism.BARBARA WALTERS WOULD EXPECT KAMALA HARRIS TO DO INTERVIEWS, AUTHOR SAYS: ‘PART OF THE JOB OF BEING PRESIDENT' »You know, I grew up in a neighborhood of folks who were very proud of their lawn, » she said. « And I was raised to believe and to know that all people deserve dignity, and that we as Americans have a beautiful character. You know, we have ambitions and aspirations and dreams, but not everyone necessarily has access to the resources that can help them fuel those dreams and ambitions. « So when I talk about building an opportunity economy, it is very much with the mind of investing in the ambitions and aspirations and the incredible work ethic of the American people and creating opportunity for people, for example, to start a small business. »Fox News Digital’s Paul Steinhauser contributed to this report.

DOJ charges Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s former Florida primary opponent with threatening to kill political rival

[ad_1]

The Justice Department charged a former primary opponent of Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., with threatening to send a « Russian-Ukrainian hit squad » to kill his political rival. William Robert Braddock III, 41, of St. Petersburg, Florida, was charged with threatening to kill his primary opponent in the 2021 election for the 13th Congressional District of Florida, and a private citizen and acquaintance of his opponent, the Justice Department announced Friday. The indictment, unsealed in the Middle District of Florida on Thursday, describes the targeted individuals as only « Victim 1 » and « Victim 2. » On June 8, 2021, prosecutors say Braddock allegedly made several threats to injure and kill his primary opponent during a phone call with the second victim, specifically stating that he would « call up my Russian-Ukrainian hit squad » to make the rival candidate disappear. The DOJ said Braddock left the United States after making the alleged threats and was later found to be residing in the Philippines. Braddock was recently deported from the Philippines to the United States and made his first court appearance in Los Angeles on Thursday. DEM OPERATIVE FISHED FOR OPPO RESEARCH IN ANTISEMITIC, LEWD TEXT MESSAGES, HOUSE REPUBLICAN CHARGESLuna, an Air Force veteran and former media consultant, was not named in the indictment. While she was running for Congress, however, Luna contended in 2021 civil court documents that Braddock, a fellow GOP challenger and former Marine, was stalking her and wanted her dead. A judge granted Luna and a conservative activist and friend of hers, Erin Olszewski, a temporary restraining order against Braddock. He subsequently dropped out of the race, denying the allegations and citing publicity from the case. Politico reported at the time that Olszewski had secretly recorded a phone call with Braddock in which he said an alleged « Russian and Ukrainian hit squad » could kill Luna within 24 hours. « Luna’s going to go down and I hope it’s by herself, » Braddock allegedly said in the recording, according to Politico, which said it had obtained the recording in June 2021. « For the better or the good of the majority of the people, we’ve got to sacrifice the few. »In a text message to Politico then, Braddock reportedly said the tape « may even be altered and edited » and that he may bring civil lawsuits and seek criminal charges against those in possession of the recording. In court proceedings regarding whether the restraining order would be made permanent, Luna, who was endorsed by former President Trump twice, testified that she had only brief in-person contact with Braddock at a political event, but heard from several acquaintances that he was allegedly making threats to have her killed.ANNA PAULINA LUNA TO FORCE VOTE ON GARLAND’S ARREST THIS WEEK AFTER DOJ REFUSES CRIMINAL REFERRAL »Mr. Braddock clearly hated my guts and wanted to hurt me, » Luna said in court, according to The Associated Press. « I started getting very afraid of him. It was horrifying, and it still is. » »I think he’s an evil person, » she said in September 2021. « I think he has definitely emotionally terrorized me. »Olszewski testified that she secretly recorded a phone call she initiated with Braddock in which he allegedly claimed the purported Russian-Ukrainian hit squad would respond quickly if he made a single phone call – and also allegedly made veiled threats against her three children if she repeated what he said. Olszewski said she shared the contents of the Braddock call she recorded on an iPad with Luna, and both women called police. In the new indictment unsealed last week, Braddock is charged with one count of interstate transmission of a true threat to injure another person. He faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison if convicted, prosecutors said.  The case was brought in relation to the Justice Department’s Election Threats Task Force, which was announced by Attorney General Merrick Garland in 2021 to address violent threats against election workers. Fox News Digital reached out to Luna’s office for comment on Sunday but did not immediately hear back. A spokesperson for the GOP congresswoman declined to comment to NBC News about the indictment but said Luna has « faced a growing number of death threats » in the last month, signaling a « broader and more disturbing issue of violence in the political arena. »The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Residents in key North Carolina district reveal how they think their county will vote in November

[ad_1]

Wake County, N.C. – Residents in a key North Carolina district revealed what they are hearing on the ground in the battleground state from both Republican and Democratic parties just weeks before the 2024 presidential election.Fox News Digital spoke with residents in Wake County, North Carolina, a highly populated district that could decide how the state votes in the presidential election. The district voted for the Democratic nominee in the past four presidential elections, but voted Republican in both 2004 and 2000.Upon speaking with voters, it appeared they were approached through phone calls and text messages more by whichever party they were registered with, but overall, each resident recalled receiving some form of outreach from a political campaign this cycle.Cameron Wilson, a senior at North Carolina State University, said he believes the Harris campaign has a stronger presence in Raleigh, North Carolina, but added that « among the college students, Trump is definitely kicking her a–. »NORTH CAROLINA GOP FOCUSING ON ‘HAND TO HAND POLITICAL COMBAT’ TO RAMP UP GROUND GAME IN BATTLEGROUND STATEAsked how they think their district will vote in November, the residents were torn, but most said they expect it to vote for the Democratic candidate. »I’m gonna go leans blue, but definitely not the same margin as the last election, » Wilson said of the district’s vote. »I think around here, with Chapel Hill, Duke, and NC State, not as liberal. But I’d say its probably leaning more one way than the other, » Zack Karagias told Fox News Digital. « I think Kamala is gonna tax the hell out of us. I think Trump’s gonna try and help us. »NC RALLYGOERS ‘PRAYING’ THAT TRUMP WINS, SLAM DEM RHETORIC CALLING HIM A ‘THREAT’ AFTER ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTSAnother individual, Julia, said that « based on all my friends and all my peers, definitely Democratic, but it is hard. »Republicans and Democrats have been campaigning heavily to get out the vote in North Carolina, a historical battleground state. Fox News Digital interviewed the Republican and Democratic parties in North Carolina, with both saying that they expect to reach over a million voters through get-out-the-vote efforts such as canvassing, phone calls and text messaging. »I’ve been getting a ton of texts on a daily basis, automated messages to vote for Trump, » a resident, Evan Davis, said. « It’s nonstop. » »I’ve signed up for some emails for Trump, but that’s about it, » Karagias said. »I saw a bunch of Mark Robinson signs all up through here the other day, but then I saw a few Kamala ones. » Wilson added. He said most messages are from the Trump campaign, but that he still gets « some of the left-leaning stuff. » »I’ve been getting some text messaging from Kamala Harris herself. And I haven’t gotten any more phone calls yet, » Julia Smith told Fox. »It’s hard to say, » she said when asked about which campaign appears to have a stronger presence in the district. « What I consume is more Democratic. »Most residents who spoke with Fox News Digital could not name a specific policy proposal by Harris since she became vice president.

The Bible makes clear who will win today’s battles, says Jonathan Cahn, bestselling author

[ad_1]

Author and evangelist Jonathan Cahn did not plan to write his newest book, « The Dragon’s Prophecy: Israel, the Dark Resurrection, and the End of Days. » Instead, as he told Fox News Digital in an on-camera interview, current events simply forced his hand. « I was kind of interrupted by everything that was happening in the Middle East, » Cahn said in a video interview from New Jersey. Cahn is the leader of Beth Israel/The Jerusalem Center in Wayne, New Jersey, a messianic congregation. (See the video at the top of this article.)While Cahn has written other books, he’d « never written a book that so much got into the biblical prophecy that is coming true now — that whole realm that is happening, » he said.’CHIPS’ ACTOR ERIK ESTRADA ON HOW FAITH BUOYS HIS LIFE AND CAREER: ‘IT’S A GOOD THING’Cahn began writing the book in January; it was released on September 3. The process of writing « The Dragon’s Prophecy, » he said, was different for him than writing his other books. As he was writing it, « things are coming true, » he said. « I had to keep on updating the book because of that. » Shortly after it was released, it hit bestseller lists, something Cahn told Fox News Digital he did not expect to happen. (His very first book, « The Harbinger, » became a New York Times bestseller, as his other books did as well.)He said that in regard to the new book, « There’s been a real hunger. We’ve never seen a reaction like this, » he said. « This is different. » Originally an atheist, Cahn « became a believer » due to biblical prophecy, he said. Raised in a Jewish family, he is now a « believer in Jesus. » ANCIENT SWORD FROM THE ERA OF MOSES, BOOK OF EXODUS UNCOVERED IN EGYPT »I had no idea that what the Bible wrote was actually coming true, starting with the resurrection of Israel, » he said. « [The Bible] said it was going to happen, » he noted. « ‘They’re going to be gathered, Jewish people from the ends of the earth, and it’s going to become a nation again.’ Well, we’re here. » The title « The Dragon’s Prophecy » is a reference to the Book of Revelation, Cahn told Fox News Digital. « The enemy is depicted in the Book of Revelation in a vision as a dragon, » he said. In Revelation 12, a dragon is « warring against a woman, » said Cahn. Some people, including Cahn, interpret the woman as a representation of Israel.  « That is happening right now, » he said. Cahn writes about this prophecy in his book. « The largest part of ‘The Dragon’s Prophecy,’ or the largest section, is called ‘The End of Days,’ » he said. « And the Bible speaks of something called the end of days, really from the time of Moses up to into the New Testament, » said Cahn. MOTHER TERESA’S LAST MESSAGE, WRITTEN ON THE DAY SHE DIED, REVEALS DEEP FAITH IN CHRISTWhile the Bible also states that nobody will know the « day or the hour » that Christ will return, it also states there will be certain signs to look out for, signs that Cahn says are happening. »It says on one hand you’ll know it, because the nation of Israel will come back into the world – which will have been dead for ages – [it] will be gathered back. The Jewish people will come back to the land. Well, that’s happened, » he said.Cahn continued, « It says that the Jewish people will be back in it, in the city of Jerusalem. Well, that happened in 1967, by the way. »The Second Coming of Christ, he said, « can’t happen without the Jewish people being in Jerusalem. » « Another thing. It says that all nations will be focused on the Middle East and focused on this little New Jersey-sized land of Israel — and that the nations will rage against the Jewish people, rage against Israel. »He added, « It’s happening » — noting the surge of antisemitism over the last year. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR LIFESTYLE NEWSLETTER »So, the thing is, you have a checklist. We could check all these things off, » said Cahn. « We don’t know the exact moment [Christ will return], but we do know the season, and we’re in it. » Cahn said he wants people to know that the Bible makes clear who will win this battle in the end. »You know, for 4,000 years the world’s been trying to destroy the nation of Israel, the Jewish people — the dragon, the enemy, has been trying to do that, » he said. Despite this, the Jewish people have survived — and all who have tried to destroy them, from ancient to modern times, « are all gone, » said Cahn. »And so, if you follow the God of Israel, you follow the Messiah of Israel, Jesus, you will live. You will prevail, » he said. For more Lifestyle articles, visit www.foxnews.com/lifestyle »Just fight. Don’t give up, » he said. « Fight the good fight. » Cahn’s new book, published by Charisma House, is available on Amazon and wherever books are sold.

Alabama’s 17-year-old star receiver writes blunt 2-word message on eye black ahead of breakout game

[ad_1]

True freshman Ryan Williams put on a show on Saturday, and he had a blatant message to go along with it.The Alabama receiver is just 17 years old, yet he looked like a superstar veteran against No. 2 Georgia on Saturday night.Williams caught six passes for 177 yards and a touchdown for the second-seeded Crimson Tide in their epic 41-34 victory over Georgia in a rematch of last season’s SEC title game.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMAfter he made an impressive 54-yard grab, cameras zoomed in on him, and they caught a stern message on his eye tape.Williams had the words « KILL EVERYBODY » written in white marker on his black tape.In somewhat ironic fashion, he (not literally) killed Georgia, as his 75-yard touchdown was the game-winner, despite Alabama squandering their own 28-point lead.TRUMP ARRIVES AT ALABAMA-GEORGIA GAME TO CHANTS OF ‘USA,’ ‘FOUR MORE YEARS’Williams was the hero after Alabama suddenly found themselves in desperation mode. Alabama allowed a 67-yard touchdown to Georgia to find themselves down a point, but it took just one play from Jalen Milroe to Williams to regain the lead. The Bulldogs faced a 4th and 2 with 1:22 to go at the Bama 47, and Carson Beck found Colbie Young for the first down. Three plays later, the Bulldogs were in the red zone. But Beck was intercepted after going in the end zone, and with the touchback, Bama was able to knee out the clock to get the victory. The loss marked Georgia’s third since the 2021 season, all of which have come against Alabama – it should be noted the Bulldogs did beat Bama in the 2022 national championship.Bama improved to 4-0 with the victory, and it’s now a question of whether they will be ranked two or three in the polls.Alabama will head to Vanderbilt next week, while the Bulldogs will host Auburn.Follow Fox News Digital’s sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

California teen, 17, previously tried as a minor for double murder charged in another killing after release

[ad_1]

A 17-year-old California gang member charged as a juvenile for a double murder carried out five years ago is now charged in connection with another murder.Shanice Dyer, a member of the East Coast Crips, was convicted of murdering Alfredo Carrera and his friend, José Flores Velázquez in Los Angeles because they were standing in the gang’s territory, Fox 11 reported.Dyer was charged with premeditated murder by then-Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey and was set to be tried as an adult. But when George Gascón – who has taken heat and faced legal battles for lenient policies – took over as district attorney, he had Dyer charged as a juvenile. She was in custody for less than four years before being released despite her conviction for two murders.CALIFORNIA MAFIA MEMBER ON DEATH ROW FATALLY BEATEN BY OTHER INMATES IN PRISONNow, Dyer is accused of aiding and abetting in the murder of 21-year-old Joshua Streeter. »Our heart breaks for the victim and his family. This is an unimaginable tragedy. However, it is very unlikely that Ms. Dyer would have been transferred under any administration, » a spokesperson for Gascón’s office told Fox 11. « Under the law, there are five factors that a juvenile court would have considered and weighed in determining if Ms. Dyer were amenable to remain in the juvenile system. » »Of those five factors, only one factor, the circumstances and gravity of the offense, weighed in favor of transfer to adult court, » the spokesperson said. All the other factors weighed in favor of Ms. Dyer remaining in the juvenile system. Given this, it is highly unlikely that Ms. Dyer would have been transferred to the adult system even if the court had held a transfer hearing. The other four factors, according to the spokesperson, are that Dyer was under the influence of adult men and acted at their direction, which indicates that she did not exhibit a high degree of criminal sophistication; that she lacked any serious criminal history at the time; the amount of time and opportunity that remained at that time to rehabilitate her in the juvenile system and the absence of any previous opportunities to rehabilitate her in the juvenile system.Gascon, who enjoyed support from liberal billionaire George Soros when he ran for office in 2020, has faced a number of his own legal battles since taking office. In 2021, a judge blocked Gason’s policy aiming to block prosecutors from seeking longer sentences for repeat offenders under the state’s Three Strikes Law, which states that defendants convicted of any new felony after being convicted of previous felonies be sentenced « for twice the term otherwise provided for the crime, » or a minimum 25 years if they have two or more prior « strikes, » according to the county. In 2022, he was sued by a number of his own prosecutors who accused him of pushing lenient sentencing guidelines that allegedly violated the law. The district attorney’s Juvenile Alternative Charging Evaluation Committee (JACE) was formed in March 2022. Since then, 23 transfer requests have been approved for transfer motions to adult court by JACE, according to Fox 11.CALIFORNIA MAN ACCUSED OF THROWING BOMB IN COURTHOUSE SAID GOVERNMENT TOOK HIS FIREARMS AWAY: DOJThe approved cases include five transfer motions that have gone to hearings before the juvenile court, four that were denied by the court, one that was granted by the court and one that is still in progress.Fox News’ Audrey Conklin contributed to this report.

European officials dismiss claim world leaders ‘are laughing’ at Trump, praise his ‘strong message’

[ad_1]

UNITED NATIONS, N.Y. — Foreign ministers from European nations with close U.S. ties reacted to Vice President Kamala Harris’ claim world leaders are « laughing » at former President Trump, dismissing the claim. During September’s presidential debate, Harris said, « World leaders are laughing at Donald Trump. I have talked with military leaders, some of whom worked with you, and they say you’re a disgrace. »When asked about this quote, foreign ministers in attendance at the United Nations High-Level Week stressed they have no view one way or the other on the U.S. election and will work with whomever wins. « We are friends of America, » Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said, noting Italy and the U.S. are « two sides of the same coin. » « If Trump will be the new president of America, we will work with him as we worked with him when he was president of America. »ISRAELI MILITARY SAYS HEZBOLLAH LEADER HASSAN NASRALLAH KILLED IN BEIRUT STRIKE »We worked well with Biden, with Bush, with Reagan, with Clinton, with Obama, » Tajani added. « For us, the transatlantic relations are the key strategy of our foreign policy, Europe and America. » Foreign ministers of Lithuania and the Czech Republic stressed that they will not interfere in the election by stating a preference, instead saying they « leave it to the American citizens to decide. » « My role is not to comment on such a political statement, » Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said. However, Lipavsky praised Trump’s « strong » message of defense spending, which he hoped Europe would continue to embrace in the face of Russian aggression against Ukraine. INVESTIGATOR REVEALS CHINA TRIED TO SMUGGLE DRONES TO LIBYA DISGUISED AS COVID AID »The point is that Donald Trump had, at his time, one strong message for Europe, and that message was quite resonating and is resonating more now because he was saying spend more on your defense, » Lipavsky said. « My government is spending more on our defense, » he added. « We want to reach those 2% of GDP, will be reaching them this year, and we will continue next year. So, (if) Donald Trump would be a president with this message, ‘Please spend 2%, » we would be OK. »Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis highlighted the « very long history » between the two countries, saying that the relationship is « more than politics. » Instead, he reiterated the message that whoever wins the election will need to focus on the same message of defense spending that Trump pushed during his first administration. TALIBAN DISMISS DISCRIMINATION ACCUSATIONS AS ‘ABSURD’ DESPITE BANNING WOMEN FROM PUBLIC IN AFGHANISTANPrior to the Trump administration, only a few members of NATO had upheld their commitment to spend 2% of GDP on defense, but that number rose sharply due to Trump’s insistence and hard-line stance over the issue. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in June reported that 23 of the 32 member states have hit the minimum spending requirement, which helped improve the bloc’s ability to support Ukraine and, potentially, deter Russian aggression beyond its current ambitions. No European nation, though, has touted the success of Trump’s first term and expressed hopes for a strong second term as has Hungary. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó revealed his government would have « huge expectations » for a new Trump administration. « We have huge expectations because we do believe that many of the major crises which give us a lot of concern can be resolved by an administration of President Trump, » Szijjártó said, noting he speaks as the longest-serving foreign minister in NATO with 10 years under his belt. HUNGARIAN FM RECALLS STRONG TRUMP ADMIN ‘EXPERIENCE,’ CLAIMS ‘OUR HOPE IS ALL’ ON FORMER PRESIDENT »I didn’t really see anyone laughing at Trump, » Szijjártó said. « What I’ve seen many having fear. I’ve seen many being afraid of a U.S. president being honest, not a hostage by the liberal mainstream, representing a patriotic position, speaking clearly about America first. »  Trump and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán have done little to hide their rosy friendship, with Trump invoking the Hungarian leader as a « strong man of Europe » who speaks well of the former president. Orbán proved this is a mutual dynamic when he chose to leave the NATO summit in Washington, D.C., earlier this year to instead meet with Trump in Mar-a-Lago in Florida to discuss foreign relations. »Under President Trump, everything was under control, » Szijjártó said. « Since President Trump has left office, the whole global security situation is deteriorating. So, I mean, these are experiences. » « If we base it on our experience, we say yes, from a perspective of U.S.-Hungary relations, I think President Trump would bring another impetus, freshness, dynamism to this relationship. And I think if President Trump is elected, I think the world has a good chance to become a more peaceful place compared to the current situation. »  The Associated Press contributed to this report.

A comet not seen for more than 80,000 years will be visible from Earth, potentially during two separate time periods over the next month.Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, also known as Comet A3, is believed to have an orbit around the sun of more than 80,000 years, according to earth.com. The comet was first visible starting on Sept. 27 and will continue until shortly before sunrise on Oct. 2. It is expected to appear like a fuzzy ball with a tail stretching across the sky. »C/2023 A3 has an orbital period of approximately 80,000 years, classifying it as a long-period comet. Veteran and author Jack Carr on finding ‘mission and passion’ when navigating key life transitions

[ad_1]

Bestselling author Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL sniper and military leader, is right now traveling the country to discuss his new nonfiction book, « Targeted: The 1983 Beirut Barracks Bombing, » the first in a new series about key terror events around the globe. For him, the new book — a nonfiction work of military history — is the result of the highly focused new mission he took on after leaving the world of U.S. Special Forces and matching this new mission in life with a longtime passion for writing.Carr spent 20 years on SEAL teams.EXCLUSIVE: BESTSELLING AUTHOR JACK CARR SHARES EXCERPT FROM ‘BEIRUT,’ HIS NEW NONFICTION BOOK ON TERRORThe veteran’s turn to literary endeavors produced novels featuring James Reece, his protagonist, first in « The Terminal List » and then in such New York Times bestselling novels as « True Believer, » « Savage Son, » « The Devil’s Hand, » « In the Blood, » « Only the Dead » and more.  But none of this was a snap. It took mental focus, a key set of decisions and perseverance, he shared. (See the video at the top of this article.)  With Veterans Day already on the horizon this fall, Carr spoke to Fox News Digial in an on-camera interview about the importance for anyone moving from the military world to the civilian to chart a new course — and how he was able to carve his own meaningful path. As a Navy SEAL Task Unit commander and sniper, Carr had deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. »I can only talk from my own experience, » he said. « But I recognized as I was getting ready to leave the SEAL teams that it was a hard place to leave. »He said, « Meaning, someone has put in their papers to [move] out [of Special Forces] or move into the private sector. And they can have a hard time leaving this foundation. » VETERANS WITH PTSD GET ‘SIGNIFICANT’ BENEFITS FROM SERVICE DOGS, FIRST NIH-FUNDED STUDY FINDS »It was almost like a foundation of cement and their feet were on it and it was drying all around them — and they couldn’t move forward, » he said. « They couldn’t build on that foundation because they were stuck in it because it was just so powerful. »Carr said, « This was five years or 10 years or 15 or 20 — however long they’d spent in the military in Special Operations. It was a very powerful few years, and it’s hard to move on from something like that. »The bestselling author noted, « I think people in professional sports deal with it. People in amateur sports deal with it. College athletes, too. You know, anybody making a transition in life, [after the] death of a loved one, divorce, a new job — it can be anything. » COMBAT VETERAN AND HIS WIFE HELP OTHERS FIGHT PTSD — AND FIND HEALING AND HOPEHe added, « But my experience just happens to be in the SEAL teams. So for me, it was important to identify a mission going forward and a purpose going forward. »Said Carr, « For me, my mission is taking care of my family. »He told Fox News Digital, « We have a middle child with really severe special needs. He needs 24/7 full-time care forever. So my mission was kind of handed to me. »He continued, « I knew that I loved writing. I loved telling stories. I’d trained myself from an early age, inadvertently, just from the fan perspective, by reading David Morrell and Nelson de Mille and Tom Clancy and … all these guys who were essentially giants in the thriller space back when I was growing up in my formative years. » For more Lifestyle articles, visit www.foxnews.com/lifestyleHe said that he’d given himself « this education, and those were my professors in the art of storytelling. » It was critical, Carr said, to « identify that mission and identify a passion — [for me], writing and then the mission, taking care of the family, and then combining those two. »So « that passion, that mission, can give you purpose going forward. » He said, « It’s going to be different for everyone. But for me, it was very important, too, because I recognized how difficult it was to leave this organization that I was in and turn that page. »CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR LIFESTYLE NEWSLETTERAnd so « for me, mission and passion combined — for me, anyway. I’m not saying it’s going to work for everybody. »But « that was a very natural thing for me to do. » »And it has given me purpose in life going forward. »Brittany Kasko of Fox News Digital contributed reporting.

North Carolina police believe missing girl’s mother fled to home country after jail release

[ad_1]

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The mother of a missing North Carolina girl was charged in connection with her disappearance, pleaded guilty, left jail and then fled the United States all within a two-year span.Madalina Cojocari was last seen getting off a school bus in her hometown of Cornelius, just north of Charlotte, on Nov. 21, 2022, when she was 11 years old. Madalina’s mother and stepfather did not report her missing until Dec. 15, 2022, despite telling police the last time they saw their daughter was at home the evening of Nov. 23, 2022. »It never leaves my mind. And I feel comfortable saying it’s the same way for all the detectives and everybody that’s invested so much time in this case, » Cornelius Police Department Chief David Baucom told Fox News Digital. « There were times at the onset of [the] investigation where some of us didn’t go home for 48 hours because we were working the case that hard and chasing down leads and everything else. Of course, that’s only sustainable for any person for so long. But … she never leaves our minds. »Madalina’s mother, Diana Cojocari, and her stepfather, Christopher Palmiter, were arrested and charged with failing to report a missing child in 2022. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MADALINA COJOCARI’S MOM’S GUILTY PLEA?Diana pleaded guilty in May and argued that the time she had spent in jail leading up to that point was enough time served. A Mecklenburg County jury found Palmiter guilty of failure to report a missing child to law enforcement on May 31 after a weeklong trial, and he was sentenced to 30 months of supervised probation.MADALINA COJOCARI MISSING FOR 1 YEAR: ‘NOT GOING TO STOP UNTIL WE FIND HER’Authorities released Diana from jail around that time, and neighbors reported seeing her back in her quiet, suburban neighborhood in early June. Baucom said she and Palmiter « were never actually living together » after their respective releases from jail, but Diana did appear at the home they formerly shared in the early days of June.In late June, Cornelius police named Diana as the prime suspect in Madalina’s disappearance, but she had already left the United States, likely for Moldova, by that point.MISSING NORTH CAROLINA GIRL’S MOTHER WANTED TO SMUGGLE 11-YEAR-OLD FROM HOME: WARRANT »And then she eventually left the country. I do not know the exact date that she left the country, » Baucom said, adding later that there were no restrictions that could have prevented her from fleeing America.Baucom noted that when Diana was initially arrested in 2022, « [S]he was charged with and served time for the only charge that we could sustain during the initial part of the investigation. »Police were able to get in contact with Diana while she was still in Cornelius after her release, but officials have since lost track of her exact whereabouts and have reached out to federal authorities for help tracking her down overseas.MADALINA COJOCARI: NORTH CAROLINA POLICE RELEASE NEW PHOTO OF 11-YEAR-OLD MISSING SINCE NOVEMBER »We have made that request, but we have not heard back if it’s been fulfilled yet, » the police chief said of the Cornelius Police Department’s request to federal officials.Diana was in the U.S. on a green card. In May, Palmiter filed for a divorce against his estranged wife.MISSING MADALINA COJOCARI: TIMELINE OF NORTH CAROLINA GIRL’S DISAPPEARANCE THAT WENT UNREPORTED FOR WEEKS »It’s unfortunate that she went back to Moldova, but our case here is still ongoing, and we’re going to continue to investigate it, » Baucom said when asked if Diana’s decision to leave the country will impede efforts to find Madalina, who would be 13 years old today. « While this investigation has been complicated from the word go … from us being behind three weeks right off the start, it definitely doesn’t make our investigation any easier with her not being here. But it doesn’t change what we’re doing. We’ll continue to investigate. »Based on their investigation so far, Cornelius police do not believe Madalina ever left the United States, though they are not dismissing any possibilities. »It’s still a very active case. We still meet regularly on it. We have a detective assigned to it. So by no means is it a cold case, and I just want to make sure the community and really whoever else sees this … [knows] our goal is to find Madalina, » Baucom said.FOLLOW THE FOX TRUE CRIME TEAM ON XDiana told school officials and Cornelius police she hadn’t seen her daughter, a sixth-grader at Bailey Middle School who was born in Moldova, since she went to her bedroom on Nov. 23, 2022, around 10 p.m. after she and Palmiter got into an argument, court documents state.Palmiter said that on Nov. 24, 2022, he drove to his relatives’ home in Michigan « to recover some items » after an argument with his wife. Diana apparently went into her daughter’s room around 11:30 that morning and discovered the 11-year-old was gone, according to an affidavit.WATCH: MADALINA LAST SEEN GETTING OFF SCHOOL BUS IN 2022When Palmiter returned home to Cornelius on Nov. 26, Diana apparently asked him where their daughter was. Palmiter asked her the same question in return, the affidavit states.Police did not find out about Madalina’s disappearance until a school truancy report from the 11-year-old’s middle school.GO HERE FOR MORE TRUE CRIME FROM FOX NEWS DIGITALBailey Middle School resource officers, along with a school counselor, attempted a home visit at the Cojocari address on Dec. 12 after Madalina had not shown up for school since Nov. 21. No one answered the door, and the school counselor left a truancy package at the home.Search warrants unsealed last year suggest Diana and her mother contacted a distant relative asking if he would help in « smuggling » Diana and Madalina from their Cornelius home before Madalina disappeared, according to phone records obtained by the Cornelius Police Department.Authorities are asking anyone with information about Madalina’s whereabouts to contact the CPD at 704-892-7773.

No. 4 Alabama fights back for win after squandering own 28-point lead to No. 2 Georgia in instant classic

[ad_1]

The game everyone had circled on their calendars lived up to the hype, and some.Saturday’s Alabama-Georgia contest was a rematch of last season’s SEC title game, which Bama won as the eighth-ranked team in the country – Georgia had been ranked No. 1 after winning 42 of their previous 43 games, but Bama’s victory propelled them into the College Football Playoff, and knocked Georgia out.Well, this matchup, like their last one, was simply epic.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMAfter squandering their own four-touchdown lead, No. 4 Alabama scored a late touchdown to come away with a 41-34 win over No. 2 Georgia in an instant classic.Alabama scored four touchdowns in the first 19 minutes of the game to take a commanding 28-0 lead, leading to everyone thinking the game was over early. But, Georgia fought all the way back. Georgia chipped away to make it a 30-15 game, and then after Bama kicked a field goal to go back up three posessions, Georgia found the end zone when they desperately needed it. They failed the two-point attempt, but after forcing a punt, the Bulldogs scored again. All of a sudden, Bama’s lead shrunk to just four points. Georgia then forced another punt, all while Bama did not waste the clock, getting the ball back for a shot at the lead with 2:42 to go and all their timeouts. Well, it only took one play for Georgia to take the lead, as Carson Beck found Dillon Bell for a 67-yard score to go up, 34-33. Beck’s rush on the two-point conversion was short, but nonetheless, the comeback was complete, and Bama, who had dominated early, suddenly was in desperation mode.No worries – it was the 17-year-old, Ryan Williams, who took a 75-yard pass from Jalen Milroe to the house, and after a successful two-point conversion, Bama was back up seven points. The Bulldogs faced a 4th and 2 with 1:22 to go at the Bama 47, and Beck found Colbie Young for the first down, and three plays later, the Bulldogs were in the red zone. But, Beck was intercepted after going for the end zone, and with the touchback, Bama was able to knee out the clock to get the incredible victory.FANS BOO TIM WALZ AS HE LEAVES MICHIGAN-MINNESOTA GAME: ‘GET OUT OF HERE!’After allowing the four touchdowns early, Georgia finally scored a touchdown midway through the second quarter. Later on, though, Beck was called for an intentional grounding in his own end zone, resulting in a safety. But apparently, despite trailing 30-7, all Georgia needed was halftime.Beck found Arian Smith for a 12-yard touchdown for the first score of the third quarter, and the two-point conversion brought them to within 15. A Bama field goal, though, made it a three-possession game late in the third. On Georgia’s ensuing drive, Beck lost a fumble. But they weren’t dead, and the comeback began on their next drive. However, they couldn’t get a stop when they needed it most, and Beck’s final turnover came at the worst time. The game is Georgia’s first loss of the season, and after losing just one in a 43-game stretch, they’ve now lost two in their last five. They are 45-3 in their last 48 games, but all three losses have come to Alabama (although, one of those victories is the national championship in 2022 against the Crimson Tide). Bama, meanwhile, improved to 4-0.Milroe finished with 373 yards on 27-for-33 passing, throwing two touchdowns and running for another two, while the 17-year-old Williams made sIx catches for 177 yards and a touchdown. Beck turned the ball over four times, but still managed to throw for 439 yards and three touchdowns. Smith went for 132 yards, while Bell added 100.The game was also headlined by Donald Trump’s appearance. The former president, and current Republican nominee, received an ovation from fans while walking in the halls and when he was shown on the jumbotron.Alabama will head to Vanderbilt next week, while the Bulldogs will host Auburn.Follow Fox News Digital’s sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Vance not allowed to campaign in Pittsburgh culinary landmark — despite Harris event at same restaurant chain

[ad_1]

Vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance missed out on a Pittsburgh culinary landmark after he was apparently kicked out from meeting with supporters inside — despite the same restaurant chain allowing the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign to meet its supporters there.A source familiar with the campaign told Fox News Digital that when the vice presidential campaign stopped by Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar in North Versailles, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, their planned visit to excited supporters was cut short when they were promptly kicked out by employees. The source noted that Primanti Bros. management was aware that the Trump-Vance campaign was planning on stopping by.An employee told the campaign that this was « not a campaign stop » and that « JD’s not allowed in, » the source said, adding that the manager threatened to call the police if they didn’t leave.Trump-Vance supporters shot back, booing the employees as they were ushered to the exit, the source said.PITTSBURGH DINERS FUME OVER ‘STAGED’ HARRIS CAMPAIGN STOP AS POPULAR RESTAURANT CLEARED: ‘MIND-BOGGLING’The Trump campaign’s frosty reception at the restaurant chain contrasts how the Harris-Walz campaign was treated just a month earlier when they visited a Primanti Bros. location in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.Harris’ campaign made a stop at the Primanti Bros. location on Aug. 18 – much to the chagrin of locals, who were kicked out of the restaurant. »I wanted to watch some sports and enjoy an afternoon lunch, » Mark Dodson previously told Fox News Digital. « Around 3:30, the bartender, she goes, ‘It’s last call’ – what do you mean last call? »Employees informed the Pennsylvania native that the restaurant was closing early for a private event.FOX NEWS TO SIMULCAST THE VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATEThe private event was the arrival of the Harris campaign’s entourage, with videos from inside the event showing Harris and second gentleman Douglas Emhoff greeting patrons.Outside, kicked-out patrons and Trump supporters protested the event. Others verbally accused the campaign of employing « actors » – as video captured by ABC News of Harris’ visit itself depicted a full dining room with people enjoying their food. »Holy hell, all these actors in these vans, » a man was heard shouting among the anti-Harris demonstrators.Despite the Vance campaign being kicked out of the local establishment on Saturday, the campaign met with supporters outside the restaurant.Photos from the impromptu outside event showed Vance greeting excited patrons.WHAT THE LATEST FOX NEWS POWER RANKINGS SHOW IN THE 2024 ELECTIONBefore leaving, Vance addressed the crowd of supporters that had gathered outside the establishment. »We paid for everybody’s food, we gave them a nice tip and, of course, when I gave a nice tip, I said no taxes on tips, » Vance said, referring to a Trump proposal. « It’s all right, don’t hold it against [the worker], » he said. « She just got a little nervous, but it’s a great local business. Let’s keep on supporting it. »WATCH:Exclusive video obtained by Fox News Digital showed Vance talking with Primanti Bros employees following the run-in. »I don’t think they paid for their food, so we’ll cover it, » Vance is heard telling an employee. »I appreciate that, thank you, » the employee is heard saying. »And keep the change, » Vance said. « I’m sure there’s going to be a fair amount in there. And, ya know, no taxes on tips. That’s one of things that we’re trying to hammer. » »Yes, we’re rooting for that! » the employee is heard saying. In a statement on social media, Primanti’s wrote that Vance’s visit was a surprise and that they were not given advance notice. »Primanti’s prides itself on being a staple of the Pittsburgh community and a proud American business that has hosted sitting presidents, politicians, and political candidates from across the spectrum for over 90 years. Our doors are open to all patrons who wish to dine with us, » they said. »Without any advance notice, today’s campaign stop caused some momentary confusion for our staff. However, Senator Vance and his team were welcomed to our restaurant shortly after and engaged with our guests inside and on the property. Senator Vance’s supportive comment that our manager got a little nervous given the Secret Service, police and crowd accurately reflected the nature of what occurred, and we are glad that it was resolved quickly. »CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPFox News Digital reached out to Primanti Bros.’ main office in Pittsburgh, and was directed to a representative’s email address. Dozens of ‘exceptionally well-preserved’ Viking skeletons unearthed in Denmark: ‘Truly Unusual’

[ad_1]

Fifty « exceptionally well-preserved » Viking skeletons have been unearthed in Denmark by archaeologists from the Museum Odense, west of Copenhagen, along with five cremated graves. « It is truly unusual to find so many well-preserved skeletons at once, like those discovered in Åsum, » museum curator Michael Borre Lundø said in a statement. « This discovery offers extraordinary opportunities to perform a wide range of scientific analyses, which can reveal more about the general health, diet, and origins of those buried. The analyses might even reveal whether the buried vikings were related, which would be particularly significant, as this has never been examined in similar graves. »The skeletons were found in the Danish village of Åsum not far from Odense, Denmark, over the past six months and were buried with artifacts from outside the country, proving that they traveled internationally for trade, according to the museum. « The graves in Åsum are so well-preserved that it may be possible, for the first time, to conduct special aDNA analyses on most of the skeletons—meaning DNA analyses on ancient material, » Sarah Croix, associate professor and PhD from the Department of Archaeology and Heritage Studies at Aarhus University, said in a statement. « It will be incredibly exciting to learn where these people came from and whether the same families were buried here across multiple generations. »High water levels and good soil conditions kept the skeletons from decomposing, Lundø said. 1,000-YEAR-OLD VIKING TREASURE FOUND HIDDEN IN DIRT: ‘UNIQUE FIND’ »Normally when we excavate Viking graves, we’d be lucky if there were two teeth left in the grave besides the grave goods, » he explained, « but here we have the skeletons fully preserved. The skeletons are so amazing. They are so well preserved. There are five fingers, five toes. And that opens up a whole new set of possibilities for discoveries. » Some of the skeletons were buried with items such as knives, brooches, glass pearls and even a wagon. « The woman was buried in the wagon she likely traveled in, » Lundø said. « We must imagine that she was buried with her finest clothes and belongings. She was given a beautiful glass bead necklace, an iron key, a knife with a silver-threaded handle, and, most notably, a small shard of glass that may have served as an amulet. At the foot of the wagon, there was a finely decorated wooden chest, the contents of which we still do not know. »EXPERTS STUNNED AFTER CORPSE OF MEDIEVAL CATHOLIC SAINT IS UNCOVERED, FOUND IN REMARKABLE CONDITIONAnother grave next to the woman’s contained a bronze three-lobed brooch, a red glass, an iron knife, and a small piece of rock crystal, which  Lundø noted isn’t natural to Denmark. He said it was likely imported from Norway. « Several items from the many graves in Åsum indicate that the buried Vikings were connected to international trade networks that developed during the Viking Age, » he said. The excavation took place in preparation for renovating an electrical grid. While those graves were for high status individuals, the majority of skeletons belonged to a community of farmers, the museum said. CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPThe burial ground covers around 2,000 square meters east of Odense and is believed to be from the 9th and 10th centuries. Reuters contributed to this report.

Naomi Campbell banned from charity role after investigation found funds were spent on hotels, spas, cigarettes

[ad_1]

Naomi Campbell has been banned from being a charity trustee in England and Wales for five years after an investigation into her charitable organization uncovered evidence of financial misconduct. On Thursday, the Charity Commission, which registers and regulates charities in England and Wales, released a report following a three-year inquiry into the 54-year-old British supermodel’s charity Fashion For Relief, which determined that the organization was « poorly governed and had inadequate financial management. »The Charity Commission reported that it found « multiple instances of misconduct and / or mismanagement » at Fashion For Relief and discovered only 8.5% of its overall spending went toward charitable grants and causes from April 2016 to July 2022.In addition, the investigation identified that some of Fashion For Relief’s expenditures were « not reasonable. It revealed that thousands of pounds in charitable funds were spent on a luxury hotel stay for Campbell in Cannes, France, including spa treatments, room service and cigarettes. Fox News Digital has reached out to a representative for Campbell for comment.NAOMI CAMPBELL GETS HOLLYWOOD TO STRIP DOWN FOR NEW YORK FASHION WEEKOn Friday, Campbell responded to the Charity Commission’s findings, which she said were « deeply flawed » in a statement to the PA news agency, via CBS News. »First of all, I recognize that, as the face of Fashion for Relief, I am ultimately responsible for its conduct, » Campbell said. « Unfortunately, I was not involved in the day-to-day operations of the organization, and I entrusted the legal and operational management to others. »The Vogue cover star added that she has « instructed new advisers to undertake a detailed investigation of what transpired. »Additionally, Campbell told the Associated Press that « everything I do and every penny I ever raised goes to charity. »The Charity Commission also found that fellow Fashion for Relief trustee Bianka Hellmich received around 290,000 pounds ($385,000) of unauthorized funds for consultancy services, which was in breach of the charity’s constitution. She has been disqualified as a trustee for nine years. The other trustee, Veronica Chou, was barred for four years.Fashion for Relief, which was founded in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, was dissolved and removed from the register of charities in March. On its website, which is still active, the charity said that it presented fashion initiatives and projects in New York, London, Cannes, Moscow, Mumbai and Dar es Salaam, raising more than $15 million for good causes around the world. The charity had been set up with the aim of uniting the fashion industry to relieve poverty and advance health and education, by making grants to other organizations and giving resources towards global disasters. The commission said that around 344,000 pounds ($460,000) has been recovered and that a further 98,000 pounds of charitable funds have been protected. These funds were used to make donations to two other charities and settle outstanding liabilities.  The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Colorado earns statement win over UCF behind standout performances from Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter

[ad_1]

As the Colorado Buffaloes prepared for Saturday’s game against the UCF Knights, the team was presumably still flying high from its thrilling overtime victory over Baylor last week. UCF was also coming off an exciting comeback win in its conference opener, when the Knights erased a 21-point deficit on the road to defeat TCU 35-34.Saturday’s game also represented a homecoming for Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, who is a Fort Meyers, Florida, who starred at Florida State. A dominating 48-21 victory over UCF improved Colorado’s record to 4-1. The Buffaloes enter their bye week on a three-game winning streak.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMThe fourth victory of the 2024 season also matches Colorado’s win total in 2023, Sanders’ first year at the helm.UNRANKED KENTUCKY UPSETS NO. 6 OLE MISS AFTER KICKER MISSES POTENTIAL GAME-TYING FIELD GOALTravis Hunter, Colorado’s two-way star, struck a Heisman pose after he grabbed an impressive, diving interception.Hunter finished the day with nine receptions and scored a touchdown on a 23-yard reception. On the ground, the Buffaloes ran for 128 yards, and running back Isaiah Augustave led the way with 39 yards. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders had another good day with 290 passing yards and three touchdowns.Colorado’s improved defense stood tall, too, slowing down an offense that entered the game averaging a nation-leading 375.7 yards per game rushing. The Buffaloes forced four turnovers — intercepting KJ Jefferson twice, once in the end zone — and also denied UCF points on one drive that stalled inside the Colorado 1.Earlier this week, Deion Sanders was asked where his team stood after four games. »You’re never going to reach my expectations, » the two-time Super Bowl champion said. « You can’t reach that because I have big, lofty dreams and lofty aspirations for each and every one of these kids on the field as well as off the field. »Sanders and the Buffaloes left Colorado Wednesday in an effort to beat the arrival of Helene, a storm that brought destruction across the Southeastern U.S.The Associated Press contributed to this report.Follow Fox News Digital’s sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Colorado’s Travis Hunter sends subtle message after Richard Sherman called the two-way star ‘bland’

[ad_1]

Travis Hunter is one of the most dynamic stars in college football. Colorado’s wide receiver and defensive back subtly responded to critical comments that former NFL player Richard Sherman recently directed at him.Sherman was a guest on the « St. Brown Podcast, » which is co-hosted by Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and his brother, New Orleans Saints player Equanimeous St. Brown, this week. At one point during the appearance, Sherman downplayed Hunter’s impact on the offensive side of the ball, suggesting he was a « bland » receiver.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMWhile Sherman did praise the two-way star’s overall athleticism, the former Seattle Seahawks defensive back felt Hunter was better suited as a cornerback.Sherman’s analysis seemed to center on his opinion that Hunter’s natural route-running skills were subpar.DEION SANDERS COMPARES SHOHEI OHTANI TO MICHAEL JORDAN, TOM BRADY »We’re not playing 50 snaps on offense and 55 snaps on defense. Boy, those coordinators on offense, they’re going to test you, » Sherman said. « These quarterbacks are going to say, ‘Hey let’s see how in shape you are by the end of the fourth quarter. We just saw you run three go routes. I’m about to bring our third receiver in to run you on three more go routes, and then let’s go ahead and do work baby. »Hunter caught wind of Sherman’s criticism and decided to send his own message. When he emerged from the tunnel Saturday ahead of Colorado’s game against the UCF Knights, he was wearing a shirt that said « bland. »Hunter effectively cleared up any serious beef with Sherman earlier this week. The Buffaloes star said he spoke to Sherman by phone, and, during their conversation, the Super Bowl champion did offer an apology. »He didn’t mean for it to go out that way, no type of negative energy. [Sherman] was telling me that he watched me a lot. I grew up watching him. … The 49ers (were) my favorite team when I was growing up. … Playing DB, I modeled my game after him when I was younger, » Hunter said in a video shared by Well Off Media. »He was telling me he apologized. I accepted the apology. … It just kind of hurt me because I look up to him. »Hunter entered Saturday’s game against the Knights with 472 receiving yards.Follow Fox News Digital’s sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.
