Angelina Jolie ended her legal battle on Thursday against the Department of Justice after filing a petition for more information regarding the agency’s investigation into alleged assaults that occurred between Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt during a 2016 cross-Atlantic flight.Jolie, 49, filed to dismiss the action with prejudice on Sept. 25 « with each party to bear its own fees and costs, » according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital. A judge signed off on the order the following day.The « Maria » actress filed the suit against the FBI in April 2022, nearly six years after the bureau launched an investigation into an alleged 2016 altercation involving Pitt, now 60, Jolie and their children, which happened on a private plane traveling from France to Los Angeles.
