A California school district has apologized after a U.S. Border Patrol recruiter was “inadvertently” denied access to a high school career fair this week, saying what happened was a “misunderstanding.”The Coachella Valley Unified School District said a Border Patrol recruiter was “inadvertently denied” entry to a career fair at Coachella Valley High School by the principal on Wednesday.”We want to make it very clear that we do not condone this behavior, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken with the involved staff members to ensure this does not happen again,” the district said in a news release.
