Sudan’s army chief says ‘Khartoum is free’ amid gains



After two years of civil war, government troops are gaining control over Sudan’s capital. The country’s de facto leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan proclaimed Khartoum’s liberation from the presidential palace.
