„Langfristig sind Zölle Gift für alle betroffenen Wirtschaften – auch für die der USA“

US-Präsident Trump hat eine Erhöhung der Zölle auf Stahl- und Aluminiumimporte auf pauschal 25 Prozent ab dem 04. März angeordnet. Im Gespräch mit Dietmar Deffner sagt Volkswirt Holger Schmieding: „Diese Zölle sind wahrscheinlich eher Verhandlungsmasse.“
