Jordan's King Abdullah names Jafar Hassan as new PM

Jordanian King Abdullah II appointed Jafar Hassan as the head of the kingdom’s new government, urging Hassan to mobilize efforts to support Palestinians. A recent election saw Islamist parties make gains in Jordan.
