El 29 de agosto se cumplen 77 años desde que Manolete murió tras una cogida en la plaza de toros de Linares, y además este año se conmemora también el 85 aniversario de su alternativa , que fue el 2 de julio de 1939 en la Maestranza de Sevilla. Teniendo en cuenta ambas efemérides, se han llevado a cabo este miércoles dos homenajes al mítico diestro , uno en su mausoleo del cementerio de Nuestra Señora de la Salud , organizado por la tertulia taurina La Montera . El otro por la noche en la plaza Conde de Priego , donde se encuentra el monumento al torero, organizado por la Casa de Jaén en Córdoba. En el mausoleo del cementerio , numerosas personas del mundo de la tauromaquia , junto a representantes de las autoridades y cordobeses a título particular, se han reunido en torno a una ofrenda floral que concluyó con un breve responso en el que se rezaron un padrenuestro, un avemaría y un gloria. A los asistentes se les regaló un cartel de la alternativa como recuerdo , y diversas personas dejaron sus ramos en la tumba, además de arrojarle flores. Tras una breve presentación del fundador de La Montera, Ladislao Rodríguez, el acto siguió con otra intervención del moderador del evento , Paco Lara, quien resaltó que precisamente este sencillo homenaje empezó en 1991 con una mujer , María de los Ángeles Alcántara, glosando la figura de Manolete , y este fue otra la encargada de esta labor , Rosa María Expósito, presidenta de la peña taurina de Priego de Córdoba. Expósito , la única presidente de una peña taurina de la provincia de Córdoba, destacó numerosas virtudes del torero , tanto dentro como fuera del ruedo, lo que a su juicio lo convirtieron en una figura legendaria: «Su elegancia y valentía en el ruedo hicieron de Manolete un icono no sólo en España, sino en todos los países donde se celebran festejos taurinos». Para la oradora, «Manolete fue único» . La presidenta de la peña taurina de Priego de Córdoba definió el toreo de Manolete como algo muy personal, «caracterizado, como es sabido, por una elegancia y un valor excepcionales». Por la noche, a las 21.30 horas y en la plaza del Conde de Priego, ha tenido lugar el homenaje organizado por la Casa de Jaén en Córdoba . La ponencia a cargo del presidente de la Fundación Toro de Lidia en Córdoba , Francisco Gordón, tuvo la particularidad de estar compuesta en verso , y en concreto en quinteto encadenados que sirvieron de original elegía. «Aunque suene herético, Manolete tiene algo de Cristo, se asemeja en su vida, y su muerte recuerda al Calvario, como sufrimiento y muerte míticos», explicó Gordón. «La persona de Manolete ha trascendido hasta tal punto que 107 años después de su nacimiento, en el fondo sigue vivo ».

Erst am Dienstag war es in Moers zu einem tödlichen Fall gekommen.Bei einem Schusswaffeneinsatz der Polizei in Recklinghausen ist ein mutmaßlicher Messerangreifer tödlich getroffen worden. Nach ersten Erkenntnissen randalierte am Mittwochabend ein 33-jähriger Mann in einem Mehrfamilienhaus, wie die Polizei in Dortmund und die Bochumer Staatsanwaltschaft mitteilten. « Laut Zeugenangaben führte er hierbei auch ein Messer bei sich. » Als die alarmierten Beamten eintrafen, entwickelte sich den Angaben zufolge eine Bedrohungssituation für die Einsatzkräfte. « Infolgedessen kam es zu einem Schusswaffengebrauch gegen den 33-Jährigen. » Dabei habe er tödliche Verletzungen erlitten. Ein Sprecher der Polizei in Dortmund sagte, wie viele Polizeibeamte bei dem Einsatz vor Ort waren und wer von der Waffe Gebrauch gemacht habe, könne man noch nicht sagen. Die Kripo in Dortmund übernahm aus Neutralitätsgründen die Ermittlungen. Schon am Dienstag hatten Polizeischüsse eine tödliche Folge Erst am Dienstag war ein mit Messern bewaffneter mutmaßliche Angreifer in Moers am Niederrhein durch Polizeischüsse ums Leben gekommen. Laut Staatsanwaltschaft Kleve war der 26 Jahre alte Deutsche erheblich psychisch auffällig und nach bisherigen Ermittlungen mit zwei Messern in den Händen auf die Polizeibeamten losgerannt. Daraufhin hätten die Polizisten geschossen und den Mann tödlich getroffen. Zuvor waren mehrere Notrufe eingegangen, weil der Mann mehrere Passanten angegriffen und bedroht haben soll. Der neuerliche Vorfall nun in Recklinghausen ereignete sich fünf Tage nach dem mutmaßlich islamistischen Anschlag mit drei Toten in Solingen. Dabei hatte ein Angreifer am Freitagabend auf einem Stadtfest drei Menschen mit einem Messer getötet und acht weitere verletzt. Mutmaßlicher Täter ist ein 26-jähriger Syrer, der in Untersuchungshaft sitzt.NRW-Innenminister will schnell gegensteuern Innenminister Herbert Reul (CDU) hatte am Mittwoch in Düsseldorf ein Zehn-Punkte-Sofortprogramm vorgestellt, mit dem er Messergewalt eindämmen will. Einem neuen Lagebild zufolge ist diese im vergangenen Jahr im öffentlichen Raum in NRW um fast 43 Prozent auf 3.540 Fälle gestiegen.Fast zeitgleich zur Vorstellung der Pläne von Reul nahm die Polizei in Recklinghausen am Morgen ein 49-Jährigen vorläufig fest. Er soll im Flur eines Mehrfamilienhauses einen 53 Jahre alten Mann verletzt und dabei ein Messer eingesetzt haben. Dieses wurde kurz darauf sichergestellt. Das Opfer kam per Rettungswagen in ein Krankenhaus.
